COMMITTEE REPORTS:
TREASURER’S REPORT, MEMBERSHIP & WEBSITE NEWS: Jon reported that we now have 91 paid members and a balance of $4,353.52 in the treasury (Car show dough not yet accounted for – it will be announced at the September meeting).
SECRETARY’S REPORT: Now that Jay found her pristine Black / Black ’04 ZO6, she was too busy tooling around to deliver a report. But since we can all read it’s in the Newsletter anyway.
ACTIVITY REPORT: A big FTCC thanks to Kurt and Caroline Meier for hosting a party at their Warsaw cottage before the Kentucky Speedway Indy race and to Pat and Jim Bischoff for organizing a sixteen car cruise Sunday 9/1 through the beautiful Boone County countryside which ended at Crescent Springs Park where the club provided a wonderful picnic lunch.
VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Jack Buecker gave the final updated on the Woods Hudson Car Show which was very successfully held at The Hofbrauhaus on August 18th with a record number of cars (which surpassed even the best previous year when member’s cars were included in the count)! Based on a survey taken of participants the location, the trophies and the venue were superb.

One final note… bring the old car magazines and a finger food desert. Any spouse willing to help with the food, please contact Jay Deerwester or Rita Bond.
SPLIT-THE-POT: Jim Spaeth momentarily won $57 (momentarily because he generously donated his loot to the Wood Hudson penny jar).
