For those who missed the meeting it was a fascinating discussion. If you’d like to learn more about Jack’s work, you can go to www.woodenboatshop.com.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Doug deeded the floor to Kurt and
dispensed with the President’s report this month.
TREASURER’S REPORT, MEMBERSHIP & WEBSITE NEWS: Jon
reported that the club has a total of ninety-one paid members and has a balance
of $4,381. (Sounds like we need a party).
SECRETARY’S REPORT: We’re not even going there (as
usual).
NEW BUSINESS: Kurt
mentioned that we had a very successful Fourth of July parade with thirty-eight
cars and about eight thousand pounds of candy (well it seemed like it!). Kurt’s
daughter-in Law, who’s a local dentist, sent her heartfelt thanks. As for the
car show, he announced that we’d met with Tom Gill on 7/25 and that Tom was
fully on board with the show and was looking forward to our appearance. Kurt
also mentioned that due to all the efforts of so many club volunteers all of
the trophies are now sponsored! He then asked that all of us try to donate a
door prize or an item that can be donated to the silent auction. Once again, Kurt asked that we all make the
effort to arrive at Tom Gill’s by 8:30 on 8/19.
VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
