COMMITTEE REPORTS:
PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Doug extended congratulations to
Gene Cochran for his third place trophy in the Cavalcade of Custom car show.
TREASURERS REPORT: There was no Treasurer’s report because Steve Waldenmeyer wasn’t able to attend the meeting until later in the evening at which time he turned over the Treasurers’ duties to Jon Hanas. Everyone in the club would like to extend our sincere thanks to Steve for his hard work and great support over the past year.
SECRETARY’S REPORT: Jon Hanas gave his final report as Secretary and turned those duties over to Jay Deerwester. We thank Jon for having done double duty over the past year as Secretary and Webmaster. Jon will serve as Treasurer, as well as continuing to operate
as the club’s
Webmaster.
VICE PRESIDENT'S / ACTIVITIES REPORT: Kurt reviewed the calendar of upcoming events, which include the February meeting at Keen Parts, the March meeting at Zakira’s Garage in Cincinnati. Kurt invited anyone interested in joining he and a group of Corvette enthusiasts for a great bottle of red wine (at La Mans, France) June 18 & 19 to get in touch with him.
Contact Jon Hanas for information.
NEW BUSINESS: Rick Deerwester circulated a sigh up sheet for those interested in participating in an autocross school. An E-mail was also sent out to everyone in the club for those who were not at the January meeting. So far we have between 30-35 tentatively committed. Rick will have more details on cost and other information (volunteers that will be needed) at the February meeting.
SPLIT-THE-POT: Didn’t Happen!
