GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING , September 14, 2004:

Next Meeting October 12, 2004 at The Roadhouse.

President Doug Schwegman called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.

Those who attended the meeting were: Doug Schwegman, Kurt Meier, Jon Hanas, Steve Waldenmeyer, Melinda & Gary Lloyd, Charley Goettsch, Richard Rolfes, Gary Benke, Susie & Don Turner, Gene Cochran, Jay & Rick Deerwester, Miriam & Jim Spaeth, Rhett Baird & Jill Lawson.

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Doug Schwegman welcomed Rhett Baird & Jill Lawson as new members. Doug reminded everybody that election of officers would be at the October meeting. The following were nominated:

President-Doug Schwegman

Vice-President-Activities Chairman--Kurt Meier

Secretary-Jay Deerwester

Treasurer-Webmaster-Membership Chairman-Jon Hanas

Other nominations will be accepted at the October meeting.

New officers will serve from January 1 to December 31, 2005.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Steve Waldenmeyer reported that we have in excess of $3800 in the treasury and that would increase in the coming months with dues for the 2005 calendar year.

SECRETARY’S REPORT & WEBSITE NEWS: Jon Hanas reported that we now have 103 members with the addition of Rhett and Jill. He reminded everyone that invoicing for next year will be mailed October 1st and due by October 31st

VICE PRESIDENT’S /ACTIVITIES REPORT: Kurt Meier agreed to serve as Vice President/Activities Chairman for one more year so that he could focus on the Club's 10th anniversary celebration next September. Jim Spaeth and Doug Hillman have agreed to share the duties of coordinating activities for the next year.

4th Annual Car Show- September 25th (See attached flyer)

NEW  BUSINESS:

"A Day at the Races" Sunday October 10th at Keeneland, Lexington, KY. (See attached flyer)

"Toys for Tots" October 31st at Kings Island (See attached flyer)

 

DENTED HUB CAP AWARD: There was no award presented at this meeting.

 

SPLIT-THE-POT: Susie Turner won $21.50 and donated it back to the club.
