Doug Hillman and Gary Benke reported on their trip to Evansville Indiana for the River City Autofest. Rick Deerwester and Nick Lucarelli accompanied them. Evidently they had quite a good time at the show and on the road. Something about passing each other at speeds in excess of 100 MPH.

DENTED HUBCAP AWARD: There were three candidates for this award this month.
Bob Adams, a perennial contender, for getting his Vette hung up on some home made ramps he made to gain access to his garage due to uneven concrete.
Bill Hengstebeck volunteered himself for the award because of the 1,400-mile trip to Michigan he took in his 64.
But the unanimous winner was Mark Works, who, in the process of leaving last months meeting accelerated a tad too much and spun his car into a ditch just up 27 from the Roadhouse. He blew three tires and damaged three rims. He contended that the traction control did not work because he had installed a modified computer. Happily, after replacing all four tires and several rims all is well and Mark and his car are back on the road.
SPLIT-THE-POT: Tom Welch split the $22.50 pot.
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
