Review of Old Runs:

Mod Day:

Gary Benke and Co. is percolating as usual. You can get to his lift if you paint your car yellow.
Stars and Stripes Tour – Rich Rolfes:

What a presentation Rich gave about the tour of Corvettes to honor 9/11 victims! Those of us who heard it can only say GOD BLESS AMERICA.
Route 66 Tour – Jon Hanas & Steve Seibert:

Again, another memorable presentation about Vettes rolling through middle America. The Hanass, The Seiberts and the Saathoffss enjoyed a two-day trip along Route 66 from St. Louis to Carterville Missouri sponsored by the Route 66 Association of Missouri. Almost 50 cars participated in the event and a good time was had by all despite the heat.
Dented Hub Cap Award:

The room went hushed when President Doug started to describe the events that led to the winner being announced.
"Yellow Car" Oh no, President Doug going to give it to "him!!!"
"Slipping Clutch" Oh Gawd, President Doug is going to give it to "him!!!"
"Couldn’t Race" It really is going to be awarded to "him!!!!"
I forced myself to quickly glance over at Honorable Benke. Whoa Nelly!!! I could see it in his eyes. He knew he was going to be selected as the recipient of this erstwhile award.
And then President Doug said the unthinkable:" Gary Benke gets the D.H.C. Award."
If eyes could produce laser beams, President Doug would have two holes through his body in a delicate area. But then, with a sigh of reassignment, Hon. Benke stepped up, smiled sheepishly and declared: " Paybacks are Hell!"
Great job,Gary. We are all proud of you. And, the DHC has no yellow on it.
Split-The-Pot:

Rick Deerwester split the $28.00 pot. Congrats!
